During the last year, a total of 1,450,000,000 KRW contributed by members nationwide was used to help people in need.

KPA's Female Pharmacists Committee (Vice President: Song, Kyung-Hee Director: Shin, Seong-Sook) has published 'Helping Neighbors for 365 days by Members of KPA,' a collection of KPA's charitable projects for 2008.

In 2008, many charitable projects were conducted, such as donating money for people in need, volunteer activities, scholarships, and the free administration and distribution of medical products that are only accessible by pharmacists. In particular, with the high interest in Korea's multicultural families these days, the percentage of charitable projects for foreign immigrant workers and their families was increased.
