Introducing 38 Next-Generation Specialists

in the Pharmaceutical Industry

'The 1^st Pharm Young Leader Camp' is held to develop the next-generation of professional specialists who can work in the pharmaceutical industry.

The event was held at the College of Pharmacy at ¡®Sungkyunkwan University¡¯ for 4 nights and 5 days, and was joined by 38 students from 19 participating universities. Students took part in group projects, and listened to various lectures on pharmaceutical industry trends, the development of new drugs, innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, and survival strategies.

One student that participated in the camp commented, "The advice that I received from the specialists in each field and the PYLC participants on the project challenged my ideas of pharmaceutical work as having a tedious daily schedule in a white square office at a company," and "Our 1^st PYLC participants will strive to be the driving force of the Pharmaceutical Industry, in Korea and the World."
