Number of KPA members by practice area

The number of members of KPA is 30,813(as of Dec. 31, 2013), and 19,909 of them (64.6%) run their own pharmacy, being the most common way to practice their profession. Adding the number of members who are working as employees at a pharmacy, 73.6% of total member is working at a pharmacy.
The number of members who work in hospitals and clinics (including public health care centers) is 3,805 (12.3%), being the next most common field, and then members who work for pharmaceutical companies, 1,433 (4.7%), and at wholesales dealers, 734 (2.4%), are followed.
